JACKSON-HIGHTOWER SCHOLARSHIP
In Honor of
William and Theresa Hightower
The Jackson-Hightower Scholarship has been established in honor of our parents, William and Theresa Hightower. Both, now resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, their memory and dedication to family inspires this gift towards the continuation of education for one qualifying 2021 African-American High School Graduate.

THE AWARD
The Jackson-Hightower Scholarship Awardee will receive a one-time $1,000.00 award paid directly to the college or university they will be attending. Once enrolled in the school and issued a Student Identification Number, the awardee should contact the scholarship team at [email protected] to provide the school’s name, mailing address and the phone number to the Bursar’s Office, and we will make the payment directly to the school.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIEMENTS
To meet eligibility requirements, students must be:• A 2021 High School Senior• Of African-American descent• A U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident• A resident of El Paso County, Colorado• In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)• Demonstrated leadership ability (e.g., through participation and/or leadership in school, community service, extracurricular, or other activities)• Additionally, the student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program, at a U.S. accredited college or university.
